I do post such complete twaddle sometimes. It can be very embarrassing reading it on the 'morning after'. My (largely unbroken) rule is to let things stand, but I really couldn't allow that last one to pass. Not in it's entirety. I have had to edit it.
Right, now for that sheet and quilt cover.

Now I feel cheated.
I concur with previous commenters. I'm really curious now as to what you wrote that was so awful that it needed to be removed!
Oh good...because I cringed at my comment after realizing what that Dexter show was really about. Yikes.
I have cringing off to a fine art, Isle Dance. It took many years of practice mind.
In my expert opinion, your comment was totally uncringeworthy. (There I've allowed that 'word' to stand WITHOUT checking it in the OED. Pedant my arse!)
P
Hee. Phew.
That Pedant word has really got to you possibly.
I had a look in my OED-to the side of my pc at ALL times to see if I could find a 'Ped' word that was not only nice but longer than some of the very long words that have featured but there were none, so Pedant it is I'm afraid-but in a good way of course.
I mean, did you actually write (paragraph removed) to taunt us or what?
Just jolly well give us a hint what was there or I shall get out my magnifying glass.
Now Im getting worried. Pedant is not an adjective that springs to mind when describing the way in which Philip approaches discharging the requirements of any particular professional retainer.
Is there a noun for those who 'Wing it'?
TD
Hello. This post is likeable, and your blog is very interesting, congratulations :-). I will add in my blogroll =). If possible gives a last there on my blog, it is about the Notebook, I hope you enjoy. The address is http://notebooks-brasil.blogspot.com. A hug.
Well, I don't know what all that was about, But TD I have a word, and the word is: Wizard if you can wing it I reckon :-)
I think 'uncringeworthy' is a word. Well, I'd try to get away with it in Scrabble at any rate.
Wow. I am truly honored by the way you referred to my blog.
Thanks so much!
O Dear, Philip, it would appear that you have been spammed ( as per the notebook comment, and NOT, I hasten to add, as per The Thesis Monster, which,to be perfecly frank with you, has a life of it's own, these days.....)
This is to say "goodbye', Philip.
I hope you are finding your way to a new different life and that in time it will prove to be a satisfying one.
I would like to know how you are doing but if you opt not to stay in touch, I will understand. Tracy will know where you can find me.
Be well, my dear.

I don't believe it anyway x
The-afterburn always makes a comeback when least expected.
Its all in the timing.
Ta da!!
Felt inspired having read this and a couple of other blogs, to get down to it! Blogging that is. Not sniggered so much in many a good week.
I'm standing in line behind everyone else to see what was so awful it was removed!

Hello Philip. I was thinking about you today - wondering how you were - so thought I'd stop by and say 'hello ... I was thinking about ...'
Hope things are ok.
Take care :-) x
Thinking of you today especially.
Philip, just stopping by to see how you are, I realised it must be a year since you lost your lovely wife, just thinking of you,and hoping you are being gentle on yuorself.

Merry Christmas Philip. I hope you manage to find some peace and enjoyment, and wish you a much better time in 2009.
Take care. x
Philip, I found your blog through the wonders of Google, (searching for something entirely unrelated to your blog). It's been about two and a half years since you last blogged. I hope life is treating you well. I know it comes years late but I am terribly sorry for your loss. Ann sounded like a wonderful woman.
Just found and read this, how incredibly moving what a loving strong person you are. How lucky you both were to find each other
Philip, I just googled you guys and some photos from Afterburn were returned in the results. Wow - you know when you're not expecting something and the wind gets knocked out. Being in the office right now it's annoying having to refrain from too many tears. My love with you and Ann.
