Christmas

I have never seen such fat, lazy, good-fer-nothin' dogs. They have just eaten the better part of a whole turkey, roast potatoes and parsnips. I'm ashamed of them. They're too full even to play with the toys Tracy sent them.

I thought that was part of the holiday tradition, eat until stuffed and then sleep!

Feeling desparately virtuous now as my dogs actually surfaced from the sofa yesterday and looked around the outside world!

Those are two handsome fellowsand could get away with worse than gluttony. Do they get mince pies on Boxing Day?
Clever of you to have matched set of dogs and cushions!

Welcome back, we missed you. No dogs in my house sadly (just a couple of cats) but the rest of us are fat, lazy and good-fer-nothin' too. We could do with borrowing your dogs for some brisk walks to burn off all the food we've consumed.

Philip, You are a literary genious and have captured the true essence of Ann's spirit. I always look forward to reading your words and hope you keep writing. Look forward to seeing you 'very' soon and cant wait for you to meet Kostas! Love always, your Nephew.

It is strange when I realise that people I know have found my Blog. David, my nephew (Ann's sister's son) lives in Germany and is a successful designer of super yachts. He is also a shiny new father. Very nervously, I performed the ceremony when he married his beautiful wife, Izloda.

Remind me to lend you a few books David.

Thanks Philip.. don't worry, we found your very moving tribute a wile back and have kept it between us. Izolda and I have spent a long time reading and I've spent a long time relating stories of time's spent with Ann. Ann was always there for us when Mum & Dad split up and always stood up for me for as long as I can remember. Ann was big sister for me and has been around in my life since I was born, from my earliest memories she has always had a steadfast and determined mind/attitude which has unquestionably rubbed off on me and has helped deal with many situations in my life....
