I noticed a family hatchback today as I was driving back from walking the dogs at Bewl Water. I was just about to crash into it when, mercifully, I saw the sticker in the back window: 'Baby on Board'. What a prudent thing to do! I dread to think what might have happened had I not seen the sticker in time.

Ann was a member of an internet DVD rental club. You maintain a list of about 30 films at their web-site and, one by one, they send you a film from that list.

Every now and then, a film from Ann's list arrives in the post. Today, for instance, 'Deja Vu' dropped through the letter box.

I love it when it happens. It is as though Ann is saying: "Try this, Darling."

I shall be a little lost when they stop coming.

Here's a picture I just took of the dogs -

p.s - thanks for the packaging tip - how many kittens do you think i will need, and will they add a lot to the weight of the parcel?
i suppose it depends on the kitten.....

I thought it looked tidy in the photograph too. It's actually not!

They were both staring into the fire when I grabbed the camera, but Ripley shifted round and ruined the effect.

I don't know how you get such good pictures of your dogs - after all, they are such ugly little blighters!

I bet even after the films stop, you will still get little 'things' happening which feel like (and may really be?) gifts from Ann. I've never seen 'Deja Vu' ... let us know if it's any good.

Take care :-) x

Have you seen 'Stand By Me' recently? You could add it to the bottom of the list.

That's funny comment about the sticker. I think those signs are for the emergency services really in case a weeny one get's overlooked in an incident. As much as I love small people I think it should just say 'humans on board'. We're all precious!
But, how wonderful about the dvds and Ann's energy still participating in your world.

So, tell us us, did you like "Déjà Vu"? I remember it as realismo magical à l'anglaise . . .

I second kat-in-a-flap, those are two good and sweet looking fellows.

Baby on board stickers are very common here in Canada. A lady down our street even has a 'Greyhounds on board' sticker in the back of her van.

Have you not realized it yet ?? The DVD's are but a small example of what is REAL all around you. Only Ann's physical body is gone from you. She is still with you at every turn ! Aren't you so very lucky to have a love so strong that it stretches between the two worlds so easily. REJOICE that you can maintain such a fierce love and connection with your beloved - enjoy the happiness that her presense offers you until you can be wholly reunited.

I've read your blog from time to time - found you via Tracy at Cupcakes. I've been too afraid to post. This time I just had to say something. I can tell you are very strong, and your loving memories are your inspiration. I honestly believe those that have gone on really do in some way give strength to those still here. Your blog has certainly, without a doubt, taught me to never ever take anything for granted.
