Hallowe'en

I nearly entitled this post: 'Hallow-Ann'. But I just stopped myself. A wee bit 'precious' don't you think?

Here are some pictures: -

And here's a picture of Ann looking beautifully silly.

I'm off now to watch the Buffy episode where they all take on the personalities of their Hallowe'en, fancy dress costumes. One of Ann's favourites.

Happy Hallowe'en everyone!

Philip, you are incredibly brave. I am not given to too much sentimentality but looking at those pics I do feel priviliged to share yours and Ann's Pumpkin ceremony and am pleased to bits that you carried it out to plan. I know your blog is called AfterBurn but I call your Ceremony AfterGlow.
Great stuff.

Aaaah! *nodding sagely* Is this the one where they have to dress up in the scariest thing they can think of and Anya is a rabbit? We still laugh at that here.

If yesterday wasn't HallowAnn, today must be - it is All Saints Day today. Or in Mexico - El Dio de los Muertos. We have to celebrate with them on all the special days.

And just talk to them on all the others.
